Think about this one. The canes prior to last nights loss had won 8 games in a row. I believe that is up there with some of their longest winning streaks. This team was bound to lose one. Just get the W tmrw and finish this thing off in Raleigh Tuesday.

Ugh day games.

That game was, disappointing, and felt very similar to past playoffs where we looked completely outmatched.
I hope this doesn’t take spiral.  We need to get the Bruins monkey off our back.

Agree. Although  This one does not have the feel of past Boston series. It definitely doesn’t feel like the Nashville series that went 6 last year.  We gonna be alright.

I think we will too. Just need to get 1 win in Boston.
That Nashville series made me realize last year we weren’t as good as I though we were.
Hope we can end it in 5.

I can see an OT win tmrw to break Boston’s spirit then crush them in Raleigh.

Ehhh Both years we had a key piece missing for the first three (Slavin last season) ans Anderson this season.... I'm not so worried about winning the series I believe we will, last year it was simple attrition a 70% maybe Slavin combined with even though we won in six we essentially played 9 games against Nashville unsurprisingly we ran out of gas agaist FL.

    • Yeah it makes it difficult to get a good read on Ward. He plays a lot of hero ball, but he has to. Kind of like Howell at UNC.
    • Everyone gives them a tough fight. Their defense is trash.
    • I think it was a few days after the Bears loss I got a notification of a new press conference clip from the Panthers YouTube channel and the headline was about Diontae bloviating about losing a boat to Helene in the midst of all the devastation here to families in North Carolina. I can definitely buy that he was self absorbed and probably not the most pleasant to be around those last few weeks in particular. Anywho some people here were for some reason throwing around a 3rd round pick as return compensation and that was always a pipe dream. Most reasonable people seemed to expect a 4th or 5th at best. I think the ire now is in response to us basically taking everything else on the chin in regards to his salary and basically swapping picks just to rid ourselves of the supposed headache. All this just says Morgan never should have traded for him. He was available for a reason. I'll be interested to see how things go for him in Baltimore. Suffice to say the Ravens are very unlikely to have near as much patience with his antics as the Panthers were.
