Exhibit A: Robby Anderson

No. Just no.

Robby was signed after an excellent year (and number of years to be fair).

Yes, he had ONE sucky year, but let's not say anything that might break this now tiresome Huddle narrative.

Ian Thomas has the most value as a blocker.  That being said, I have seen him whiff on assigned blocks and get flattened as well.

He's made a handful of very good catches in 4 years, but he usually goes down quickly when contact occurs.  He isn't one to fight for those extra yards.

He got paid a lot more than I thought he was worth, but I suppose the FO thinks more highly of him than a majority of the fans.

Dude, he sucks. He's a moron, plays like a selfish twit and will throw his teammates under the bus to cover up for his failings.

I'd pay another team to take him.

The TE room doesn't have a Greg Olsen type player.

Thomas was not signed for his pass catching ability though he has the ability.  He was signed because he's a blocking type TE and will be big for us in the run game.

Tremble is a great blocker and IMO a better pass catcher than Thomas and has a huge upside and I expect him to really shine this year.

TE's on this team are going to have to be good blockers.  If Babicz plans on making this team he is going to have to show he can block first.  If he shows growth during OTAs, minicamps and training camp he'll probably be on the practice squad.

Vs N Iowa - the scoop off the carpet while running, being able to stay upright and continue running for TD was a pretty nice play.

I think you need to consider the competition though in all of this.  They teams NDSU played weren't exactly SEC caliber.

I've already said he's the UDFA that makes the team...barring injury.  He's got to beat out Thompson and Sullivan for TE3.  REALLY?

Definitely  has a shot!! The size n skill in both passing and Blocking is more in line than either of those 2(mainly special teams only)

Competition  was definitely  not elite but the traits to pluck the ball off ground and catch over people is still impressive. I get your logic tho, it's why I'm not crowning him but would like to see if he develops through offseason.  His biggest bonus is pairing. I say that because  he will most likely be getting reps with Corral. With that being the case, he will definitely  be on the staff radar if those 2 connect and etc during practice.

No one had any problem with Anderson until last season. No one was saying that he sucks, plays selfishly and throws his teammates under the bus or anything of the sort. The fact is is that he hasn't thrown anyone under the bus, not even Sam Darnold.

The fact TE Josh Babicz worked his tail off and paid the price to keep on progressing, getting better and better speaks highly of him.

If these same traits translate to training camp and the coaches like what he brings to the table we may have gotten a steal by signing him.

So who won the Dan Arnold CJ Henderson trade? Darnold to Arnold was working fairly well before we made the trade.

In 2021, the Jags did.  Henderson did NOT play well, and Arnold, when on the field, had some decent production.  Also the loss of the chemistry between Darnold and Arnold was apparent.  Ian Thomas does NOT have reliable hands and Tremble was a rookie.

We'll see in 2022.

    • Rhule was GM for 2020 and 2021/final say/total control/______/head cheese   Then afters years of trying to find a QB, trepper issued a order to get one at all cost. Even without BY fumble and after the rhule driving the draft/FAs(member erving and elf lollolols) fittererererer was no improvement.
