I'm not sold on him entirely (I'm not sold on any of the qbs fully even though I want us to take one) but he does give me a little bit of Russel Wilson coming out of college vibes.

yeah but his passing significantly fell off last year. we just need to pass on all those QBs. live and die with Sam.

He also had one of if not the worst OL (along with Willis) in all of college football and his number one skill player was a slot receiver. I’d grade him off of the previous years tape before this past years. Maybe he is like Baker and needs to be surrounded by very good players to succeed… but unlike Baker, Howell is a calm leader and can command a team.
