Curry talks heating up?

Eddy Curry has become visible of late, sitting among his teammates before games and talking casually with reporters. Curry, who is hoping to make his season debut within the next two weeks, knows that once he begins playing - and plays well - his time with the Knicks could be brief.

The Knicks have made no secret that trading Curry would enhance their prospects of signing two major free agents in the summer of 2010. Charlotte has expressed interest in Curry, and people close to the Knicks center say that he would welcome a change of address.

"I don't know what's going to happen," Curry said. When asked about the Bobcats, Curry only said, "I enjoyed playing for Larry (Brown) when he was here."

i would almost rather keep Diaw and ship out Wallace and Bell for Curry and Lee

Diaw could move to the 3, Oak to the 4, and Curry starting at center

My guess is D'Antoni will want to be re-united with both Diaw and Bell. I don't think G-Dub is in mind for the Knicks seeing that they are trying to open up cap space for the Lebron sweepstakes. Best case scenario is Lee and Curry for Diaw and Bell. G-Dub has alot of interest from Sacramento and Toronto.

id be mad if diaw gets traded, he has changed so much here already. the offense doesnt settle anymore for jumpshots. they drive hard and pass. he also has made okafor a better player, when diaw is out of the game the offense is stagnant. any trade involving diaw is a bad one.

I'd way rather keep Diaw than to trade him for Curry. Good lord, I hope this doesnt happen. However there is a guy over at Bobcats planet, with alleged inside info, that says Felton and Okafor are going to be traded by the end of the week for a apckage of players that include Anthony Randolf of Golden State. So maybe there is a bigger picture to everything, with a couple of trades going down.

lee is a FA i beleive after the year, unlikely to move imo considering how well he plays for them. if he does go its for alot. curry on the other hand isnt a good move imo. now oak and felton to golden state is intresting if they get wright and randolph. thats 2 guys that are FA in 2010, along with Lebron, wade, bosh..... could setup a great team that way. unfortunately carrol isnt going anywhere. same with nazr. if they could get moved that would be huge, much better than moving wallace or oak. felton imo should bring in alot, good rental for GS. i would be wanting a kings randsom for him if dealing with GS. GS has no PG depth and he can be better than watson.

as for curry, hell no. he doesnt play d, cant hit FT, payed a ton. they can keep him and hos salary on the bench. no need to eat another bad contract for an overpaid player. diaw has fit so well. he is paid like a star, but honestly he has a shot to be one on this team. unusual player, good ball skills and passing for big guy, with good range. i bet the knicks definately want him back, but i wouldnt move him or DJ. all the others are tradable imo. those 2 are the 2 best players on the team atm.
