Growing up I knew some older guys that would noodle in the rivers around home. The largest I have actually saw we 38 pounds.  Was told the guy also pulled one just over 50 from the same "big rock".

Needless to say the river those came from were not that wide or deep,  but I just cannot see sticking your arm in a deep hole under a rock and letting whatever is in there latch onto it.

Nope, not even on naked and afraid would I do that.

These folks go under water for those things! Crazy I tell ya.
