Trade next years 1st round pick to be get back in to this years 1st round.. IF... QB Malik is still available late in the round. Probably give up a 5th this year and a 3rd next year to get it. Then all positions of real need have been addresses. Then sign a decent DE/DL still available.

Heeeeeeeelllllll naw. No way I’d trade next years 1st for any reason. We will have a new coach next year coming in without a 1st round pick which very well could be top 5 with Rhule’s track record.

Nope. If they’re realistic they’ll know that trotting a rookie out there (especially Willis) will end in us getting another top 5 pick that was then handed over to the Packers. 
 

Rhule made his bed with Darnold. Get the LT. Let McAdoo do his job and roll with the cards he dealt himself. There is no way wirh next years QB class that Tepper and Fitt let him trade a future 1st. 
 

Young, Stroud, Richardson, and maybe Rattler are ALL better than the top QB in this class. You do not trade that pick. Period. Sorry Matt…

No way Fitts does that. If a top LT is there you take them. Then we take our lumps this year, Fat Boy gets fired, next years coach picks their guy. Bryce Young, Tyler Van Dyke, CJ Stroud, etc

I think they would watch the board, and if one of the top 5 falls to mid/end of the second round they'll try to get there. Not with a first, but I wouldn't say next year's 2nd or 3rd are off the table.

If trading down, yes use that capital and maybe a later round 2023 pick. Next year’s top 3 picks should be untouchable.

As much as I despise Rhule and would like nothing better than for him to rot in the bed he made, neither the players or the fans can stomach another year of Darnold 

don’t forget those players have incentives in their contract and some actually aspire to, you know, make it to a playoff game, and that is absolutely not happening with Darnold. 

Too, do not expect the fans in the stadium to be anything other than opposing fans 

why travel to see the worst qb in the league look like the worst qb in the league 

it’s called Hope…and right now, this franchise and it’s fans, have none.  

losing hope in September is a helluva lot worse for a pro football team than losing it in December

Next years first could be a top 5 pick. Do not think this would be a good move to trade it for another pick this year.

We should trade back If Malik is available.  Then trade back again If Pickett is. End up with 3 firsts next year in a deeper draft
