Don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but we do have a coach on staff who has direct experience with Mayfield.

James Campen was on the Browns staff a few years back as OL coach and assistant head coach.

Desperately clinging to that 2020 season that had 1 playoff win.  It was all Mayfield. It had nothing to do with 2 ALLPRO Guards, an ALLPRO Tacke and Probowl running back, Nick Chubb. 

Mayfield managed to rise above all of that lack of talent on O to win that one playoff game.  He da man.  Send that whiny bitch over.

Yeah Baker’s rookie season with 3700 yards 27 TDs 14 INTs was better than anything Darnold has done. That was playing for the worst team in the league. 2/4 years he was good and he played hurt last year (still put up better numbers than Darnold) while losing Beckham mid season and Landry and Chubb missed time. He was also sacked more than Sam so there goes the elite OL theory. He is a pretty high upgrade over Darnold because he is actually a capable starter. It’s really not that debatable. Darnold is complete garbage…
