Robby has been getting hate before this year. People like you just choose to ignore it, because you to don’t like Robby. Again, his “Sideshow Bob” nickname came before his horrible last season.

Robby is criticized and has been criticized for much more than his play for quite awhile now. He was terrible last year, and I don’t think he’s worth the contract he received. I also wouldn’t care if he was traded. I can see when someone is being targeted, though.

It’s not our “in over his head” coach or having the worst starting QB in the league that’s running fans off?

Its Robby, and his recent posts on social media? lol

Alot of y’all have hated Robby, and it was long before this. His “sideshow bob” nickname was created long before his social media mishaps and his bad last season. Robby’s just the east target, and I can’t understand why

They don't like his locs...

I don't think a few posts on social media are that big of a deal. People today blow the importance of social media way out of proportion.

At the end of the day, my opinion is if we can consider Mayfield and Garropolo or Minshew, we can also give Kaepernick a chance, and that's what I'm sticking to.

It’s also interesting that you choose to come after my post, but not the absurd post that I was responding to. But I get it, you don’t have a problem with that post, because you more than likely think the same. The poster I quoted just has the gall to say it.

Wobby's ticket out of town is about to be upgraded to First Class from Coach 🛫 👋

That said, he's just as qualified to dictate personnel-moves/hiring-decisions as Mr. Whip-It-Out...

...namely, not at all 🤣

That butt of yours still hurt’n from being wrong all those times. Should we just call you emoji-boy?

Saints political Forum Warning.

Falcons Political Forum Warning

Guys, there is a reason just about every football form has this particular political warning. It is because it is a very hot topic to say the least.

My question is, does Mr. Anderson have the best interest of the Carolina Panthers in mind or does he have political views in mind.

There are people in this world that seem to want to deny reality.  For reasons known only to Colin, Colin Kaepernick felt it necessary to push politics into the world of NFL football.  I do not think Colin realized  just how much damage he has done to his reputation. By reputation I mean the fact that,  can you trust him to keep politics off the playing field.

The Carolina Panthers want the best quarterback available with the best talent to help us win football games and hopefully a championship.  If Colin Kaepernick is the best quarterback with the best talent then I would say yes,  let’s sign him up and put him on the team.  But, reputation is everything. Can you trust him to keep politics off the Carolina Panthers playing field. Can you trust the news media from making Colin Kaepernick a circus that will affect the championship hopes of the Carolina Panthers?

I personally think that Colin is probably sincere and he will keep politics off the playing field. But I don’t wanna take a chance with my football team I’d much rather see him go to a different football team rather than a beloved Carolina Panthers team to prove it.

He may be overrated, but so is Mayfield. And the truth is, Mayfield is a bust with a bad attitude to boot.

I don't think Mayfield is overrated. Pretty sure the market has spoken enough that he is rated appropriately now that the Browns have been unable to move him.

That may be true in reference to Mayfield, but it's not necessarily true in reference to Kaepernick. Kap was cut off at the knees for different reasons during what should've been the prime of his career, so much so that he wouldn't even be considered for a backup job (and that's bullshit).

In any event, I don't think there's any harm in seeing what he has now if teams so choose. From some perspective, it would be fitting.

"People like me", eh? 🤔

I can't speak for the "people like me" but I myself didn't really have any issues with Robby until he started dropping everything thrown to him after getting a big contract.

I actually thought your response to the post in question pretty well covered it, particularly when it came to the coach and quarterback issues, up until the "why do people dislike Robby" part.

Speaking again only for myself, I don't generally give a sh-t what players post on social media, but the point that Robby isn't really a good enough player to be listened to when it comes to personnel decisions is a valid one.

Generally speaking, football decisions should be made for football reasons outside of heinous conduct. Saying things, even dumb things, on social media may be goofy, but it's generally not heinous.

Again, we are talking about a guy that hasn't played football since 2016.

Not to mention, I am pretty sure he is not willing to accept the type deal that most teams would pay, which is veteran minimum.

I tend to believe he doesn't actually have any desire to play in the NFL anymore.

I don't necessarily think that, as a rule, listening to any player when it comes to personnel decisions is the way you wanna go.

Posting things like "fire" and "praying hands" or even a ding here or there on social media is decidedly benign in the grand scheme of things. And like Aggielean said, there was disdain for Robbie on the Huddle before 2021. It's just interesting is all. I can justify ragging on him for his 2021 performance, but I believe there were some mitigating factors if one chooses to be thoughtful as opposed to hateful. Even more, I could argue (and have) that when you look at the entirety of Robby's career, he has done fairly well and has been on the right trajectory, including one of two years here.

Why people hate him so is really over the top in my opinion, and I certainly am not going to rubber stamp the idea that he's getting above his britches or getting out of place because his...level of play doesn't justify it. I certainly don't believe that that's an appropriate or politically correct gauge to determine Robby's right to freedom of expression (especially for things that could possibly have a direct impact upon his career).

    • I really doubt Brooks is going to hit a hole like Chuba is willing to do. I think if There was a Chuba/Sanders scale Brooks would be more like Sanders style but maybe more willing to take contact. Chuba has gotten better with the hands but he's still got that rocket thing out of the backfield not maybe dudes do
