Kelly Sutherland was one of the refs last night- same ref we had Sunday night against the Ducks. He's never been consistent when it comes to Canes games.

Say what you will about Domi (and I was the guy not very happy with the acquisition because I didn't like the guy), but he plays better in the middle than the wing. And he can pass- man, can he pass. 

Former Ranger players had a pretty good night- Smith played well and didn't drop the gloves when the opportunity presented itself; Skjei had 2 assists, TDA had a couple good blocks, good hits and took a good slashing call late that maybe saved a goal.

Canes gotta go back up there in a couple weeks....

      I'm happy with the draft. There will be better players you passed on but that happens to every team in EVERY draft. I'm just happy we hit on a very solid draft and hoping for the same next draft to add more talent to the team.

      Here is the issue guys with a clear head.  It’s not Martin’s fault he is an AHL and playing the best he can. It’s Rods fault and managements fault for not moving on from freddie and getting another guy to complement Koochie. It’s more of Rods stubborn ass becasue he loves Freddie.    however, our team is better than the bullshit turnover after turnover and poor clears.    we need goalie help. We need it bad. But today was a more on Burns Ghost and company that can’t clear a puck to save their lives.    Nikishin can’t get here fast enough.
