After the draft, the prices on QBs like Baker and Jimmy will come down immensely. And I still hope we hold off. I don't think we should allow a coach fighting for his job to endanger future drafts.

It was truly the most costly regular season victory we've ever had.  I'm not in the camp that wants to tank a season. However, there comes a time in every season when you either have playoff aspirations or you have no shot.  When you get to the point where you're out of the playoff midst, it's prudent to maximize the value of future assets.  That game was a pure example of being imprudent organizationally to an exponential degree.
