Fans don't make trades. And fans of good teams always seem to overrate their rosters. Just think back to how confident we were through Cam's prime years.

They don't have a 1st, would anyone trade out of the top 10 for picks 44 and 78? Our other issue is Falcons and Saints being the two option who might want to trade up and not looking to help us out. I think more than likely the team that actually wants to trade up does to with the Giants leaving us stranded at our position.

I wasn't talking specifically for us. But the NFL has changed. Teams that feel they're in a window to make a SB run with their roster are getting a LOT more aggressive to capitalize on it in recent years.

If we get Jimmy I hope they don’t extend him and just let him finish his contract with us and then kick him to the curb. 
Problem is 49ers know Jimmy may not be ready for training camp and STILL want too much for him. 
I don’t like Darnold but at least with him we would be guaranteed another top 10 pick.

From most insider podcasts I have heard is that the Saints are looking at the NFC and are in a "win now" mode and prefer to get 2 premier players (tackle, wr most likely) to compete this year.  At least that is the message Loomis has sent to the team.  I doubt they go to 5

Nah, hindsight being 20/20 the franchise was already ruined we just didn't realize it yet. The ruination occurred when Tepper signed the papers.

      I'd rather figure out a way to get Howell from Seattle.  I think he would do really well in Canales offense.  I also think Howell would do great with this offensive line. Thoughts?

      30 points a game. People were hoping to get 17-21 with Young at Qb. This week will be a tougher defense sure would be nice to eat off their plate.
