He has the best body of work. Been the most consistent in college.

I like that he worked on his issues and pretty much showed notable progress despite having to change coaches and systems. I also liked the fact that he competed in the SEC. It's a rough conference.

That's pretty much it as I can see. Now of course he has had depression (maybe all stemming from that, IDK), but are we really going to hold that against him? I mean, I guess someone might, but I won't.

And alcohol.  Too many red flags from the jump

People like to say that pro days don’t matter because they’re throwing against air but Pickett and Willis looked significantly better than corral throwing against air

He didn't have the same time to prepare as the others. He was rusty. Even still, he wasn't bad.

Let s get serious; am I going to let a pro day outweigh actual game days--the tape? I will compare his body of work favorably to any QB coming out of this class. It's pretty good, shows marked progress of Corral notwithstanding coaching changes, and highlights superior competition.

Personally, no.  I just don't think the talent is there to use 6 on a QB.  We really F'd ourselves with this Darnold thing, but I don't wanna keep bringing up old poo lol.

Corral isnt making it to where our 2nd round pick would be anyway.

What about alcohol? He drank. How many college kids drink? He actually stopped abusing it, much like many, when he realized that it may have been causing him some problems. He actually abstained during his senior year in solidarity with Lane Kiffin. This is a nonstarter.

I was thinking this exact thing when I read the OP. "Know he is from a smaller program ..."? Since when is Ole Miss a smaller program than Pittsburgh or Liberty?

It is an assumption people make about a Mississippi program.  It is human nature, people assume when they are too lazy to think.

Not sure why but something is just off with him.  The injuries are red flags but just not quite sure he is totally engaged

Yeah he seems to have a slight Nonchalant Jay Cutler  attitude  sometimes it seems... More talented but  idk

Wait…Corral has a history of missing wide open reads very badly.  Just because he played in the SEC doesn’t mean he was the better QB.  I can just boil it down to him being raw…which he definitely is but I am not sold he is ready to work to be great.

As to your comment on his coaching it is very apparent that Lane Kiffin and that offense helped him immensely last season.  Kiffin may not be liked much but he can scheme some ridiculous offensive plays.

Are you referring to 2019 and 2020? You do realize that he improved just about all aspects of his game every season, especially this past season, including making proper reads. Not to say he was perfect, because he has a little gunslinger in him, but he's smart and coachable.

If he is your guy thats fine, all these QBs have questions.  I won’t argue that
