Is There Anyone Other Than a T or QB for the Panthers at #6

Could you live with the Panthers remaining at #6 and picking a player other than a LT or QB? "Sauce", Hamilton, or one of the top Edges maybe?

If there is an early run on OL and the edge rushers drop I could see it. Our DLine is probably just as bad and maybe worse than the OLine.

If the tackles are gone, one of the Edge's drop, we can't find a trade back partner...I could see it...not likely to happen...IMO.

Honestly, I wouldn't be stunned with us taking Walker, Thibodeaux, or Garrett Wilson (we really liked Jaylen Waddle last year)

I haven't followed this draft super closely outside of T or QB but if there's a legit top 10 talent pass rusher there I'd be fine with that. Not sure if there is a player that fits that bill though...

What I would want to do and what would the Panthers do are different questions.

 

 

They're also two things that hardly ever match up

A receiver is a surprise pick. After the big contracts given to WR's this year loading up on WR makes more sense.  I have not given up on TMJr but Wilson is special.  Also if we wait till next year to get our franchise QB he will come in to a stacked receiver room.

I think Wilson is very very high on many teams’ boards. He is a superb interviewer and awesome prospect. Also factoring in what Kupp, Chase and Deebo have meant for their teams, think he’s going to be the most sought after playmaker in the draft. I actually want him haha
