I am perplexed by this "Bo Nix strong arm" thing. I am not sure if many people saw him in college, in the combine or certainly the NFL but he does not have anywhere near a "strong" NFL arm. Very much closer to average, if not squarely average. -
Yeah, he gets credit for trying. He does. But I don't see any way he can really be a pocket QB because he is so damned short and small I don't feel like he can see the field without having throwing lanes like, between the tall people. And I never objected to his size, fragility wise - because I never made it that far to worry about that - but if he is gonna sack up and take the hits for stepping into the throws I don't know how long that will work. And I feel like Canales has to x out so many potential calls because of one limitation or the other; we don't have a fully diverse passing offense with him back there. It is limited.
