Would you put it past Tepper to move the team?

He has no connections to this area as far as I can tell. I don't believe there is any stipulation in buying the team in which he couldn't relocate in the future. I know all the bullcrap about the soccer league, but is that enough to keep him here?

Now having trouble with the new practice facility and probably wanting a new stadium down the road (probably looking for city/state funds to help fund it). Getting chewed a new ass by the fan base and media here....do you all trust that he wouldnt pull the plug on Charlotte and just GTFO?

IF he wanted to, I don’t think the NFL would want to lose the revenue stream and wouldn’t approve it. If they did by some chance their are teams out there that would probably jump on a chance to play here.

I wouldn’t put it past him but it makes absolutely no sense for him to do it from his perspective and I can’t see it happening any time in the near future. 7+ years from now? Who knows

A quick Google search shows that in 2021 the Panthers were the 19th most valuable team, and were not even in the top 12 in profit. So no, I don't think the NFL would cause a fuss if Tepper found a better area. But also no, I don't think Tepper will move the team nor does he want to.

Does he make it a nice package deal for a city like San Antonio that already has an indoor stadium (Alamodome)?

TBH, I’m not worried yet. With Charlotte FC, a move won’t happen for 5-7 years.  By then the state of the franchise should be better.  I trust in Fitterer.
