I honestly didn't even realize they hadn't been this whole time.

To be honest, I've never understood the need for them to be in the locker room after a game. Let the players get cleaned up and dressed and then talk to them.

So you have to be in a changing room / bathroom to do an interview right after a game?

Totally normal. I get the SB celebration pics and even the coach breakdowns with game balls but would 15 more minuets really be a bad thing to stick a mic in a players face?

It is really strange and feels very outdated at this point.

I get the media wanting as much access as possible, but there’s something off-putting and somewhat dehumanizing of having the media strolling around while many players are butt ass naked fresh out of the shower trying to get dressed.

I don't think they should be in locker rooms. I mean, damn. Give these guys some space and some privacy. They're gonna hold a media session here in just a few anyway.

They only bring a couple guys to the podium every game, so if you're doing a story or a report on any other player, your only option is to catch them in the locker room and see if they'll talk.
