I'm saying from what I have seen and read accuracy isn't a big weakness for him. If you want to say his decision making and experience in a pro system are one I get that. But I don't see a lot of he misses a lot of throws.

The perceived issues in Willis’ game could take a minute to clean up. His accuracy is tops on that list, as Willis himself noted at the combine. His completion percentage dipped to 61.1 last season and he threw 12 picks. “(I’m) trying to be as consistent as I can with my base,” Willis said. “That’s where some of the flaws in my game come from, maybe some of the inaccuracies.”

Whether that’s a fixable issue at the next level depends on whom you ask. Some NFL coaches and scouts will tell you that Willis’ game can be cleaned up — again, draft-and-develop — and that better technique will dial in his throws. From others, you’ll hear that quarterbacks who have accuracy issues in college tend to be permanent concerns. Are there exceptions? Sure. Look at Josh Allen. In general, though, folks on this side of the fence will note how challenging it is to craft a pinpoint passer.

WHY HE COULD FALL

His accuracy is a work in progress, and he’ll need to learn to take fewer sacks. He’ll see a big jump in offensive complexity and competition going from Liberty to the NFL.

If a guy is not accurate in college, 9 times out of 10 hes not going to magically become accurate in the pros.  No matter how much coaching he gets.  Does it happen occasionally?  Sure....but more often than not they are who they are.

I used to believe this but I don’t anymore.

Matt Ryan’s accuracy was abysmal, Drew Brees’ was below average, Tom Brady’s was below average… then you look at at guy like Baker Mayfield who had elite college accuracy and now he struggles.

Josh Allen is a unicorn created in a lab with the aid of legitimately good coaches who brought him along at the perfect pace.

We are not that environment so we should not draft Willis if you want to see that kid succeed.

I see nobody saying what your saying but you. Everyone I see say he had a great day made a lot of money and thats without running... now being mentioned going as high as 2. You sound like a hater.

Did you just start watching him yesterday at his pro day? That’s literally been the comment every single analyst has on Willis. Doesn’t throw with anticipation and will need to tighten up accuracy for the NFL ball placement needed.
