2 Beta QBs competing to be an NFL starter.

38 fumbles in 4 years. Not going to get better in the NFL. And that is the least of his problems/red flags.

... and there's more

Would you have taken Lamar Jackson in the draft? 25 fumbles in 3 seasons. What about Daunte Culpepper? Josh Allen? Michael Vick?

Those guys all have/had fumbling problems in the NFL.

Would you draft Mahomes because his hands were small? 🤔

I rather continue building the team, than go the qb route next season, we’ve seen as long as you field a talented roster the opportunities to lure a great qb to you team increases.

If we do go qb this draft I hope it’s because of fitts etc evaluations not because of any input from Rhule

If the Panthers are sold on Pickett’s talent and his ability to play at a high level immediately like I think they are, he should be their pick at # 6 in the NFL Draft.

The Panthers are a QB away from competing for the NFC South in 2022 and landing the right starter could change everything for this franchise. Plus, this organization holds a lot of connections to Pickett.

David Tepper grew up in Pittsburgh, Penn. and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He later became part-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and remains an influential booster for the Panthers’ college football program.

Plus, Pickett reminded everyone that he already has a strong relationship with  Matt Rhule.

Considering how much influence Rhule and Tepper will have over the Panthers’ QB decision, I will not be surprised  if Pickett goes to the Panthers at #6 in the up coming NFL Draft.

That’s been our MO. Great IOL class after losing Norwell, Kalil and soon Turner, let’s reach for a tackle. Great T class a year later, we’ll we still have hope on Little so let’s go DT. Great QB class a year later, let’s go CB because Sam will work out. Shitty QB class this year, welp I guess Sam didn’t work out and we couldn’t get Watson so let’s reach at 6 and get a QB who wouldn’t have gone till the 2nd last year.

It’s how we suck and had to go FA crazy to fill all our talent holes because we are stupid and reach for positions that are deep other years.

Pick 6 would get you a quality QB in most years:

2021 - Fields/Jones

2020 - Herbert

2019 - No one

2018 - Allen/Jackson

2017 - Mahomes/Watson

2016 - No one

Are we really dumb enough to take the next D. Jones, Haskins or Lynch?

The problem truly is that we have no plan. We can’t miss out on Watson and take a step back and say this isn’t a good class, let’s focus on shoring up OL and OL depth (C is on 1 year deal) and go QB in 2023.

They should roll the dice on a mid to late round QB or an unknown. This is the moment you can find that Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, or Jake Delhomme while you wait for the obvious first round franchise QB to appear. If the QB isn't good, you are set up for that true 1st round pick QB. If the QB is good, you have your franchise QB and a likely winner with a year of experience under their belt.

When I look at this draft I see a deep backup QB draft. If Mitchell Trubisky, Akili Smith, Jim McMahon, Jay Cutler, Randall Cunningham, Colt McCoy, Tom Brady, and Warren Moon all entered the draft at the same time, you would have the 2022 NFL draft. Tom Brady would still go 4th to 6th round when all scouts look at is who looks good on the field.

Winners>Looks
