She seems to be pretty well connected but she doesn't filter much. She is less a traditional sports journalist but more akin to the modern era social media "reporters" that clamor to be the first to report anything(despite being inaccurate often).

That's why social media "reporting" sucks so badly. Being first means more credibility and more clicks. People don't care if the info is wrong. First is the most important.

Ian Rappoport is really the same way, TBH.
