Right but if fitts or tepper let Rhule reach for a qb to save his job than we’re doomed anyway. Last thing I want is to do what the cards did, there’s nothing Rhule has done to trust his qb evaluation, even worst, he’s shown nothing that will lead you to believe even if he got a qb, he’d be able to muster more than 5 wins.

One thing I've learned is that if the huddle hates a rookie QB, they will probably be good, so I'm all for drafting a QB.

I think they’ll let him reach otherwise why keep him? If we’re content with Darnold and another losing season then why not bring in a coach who can start to build his team for 2023?

Rhule is fighting for his job and he’s going to do everything to try and save it, even if it’s reaching for a QB.

He allowed 8 sacks in 2021--that is one every 2 games and Russell was the QB. 

His PFF grade was 71, however.

I think they will offer a 1-year deal, not a 2-year deal.  Play BC at LG and move him to LT in 2023?  Just a hunch.

I saw Pickett's highlights and there is a lot to like--but it seems that every great throw was from a clean pocket.  If they draft him and start him, they better not have him running for his life.
