Panthers closing in on Duane Brown

Makes me think they are dead set on a QB at 6 then. If this happens, a one year deal to solidify the line for a rookie and move on next year. That's what may be the thinking here.

    • To me this sticks out like a sore thumb and should sound familiar to Panthers fans. This is one thing that has always separated the good pass rushers(Burns) and the elite pass rushers. It is the ability to consistently finish these type of plays. It doesn't mean that there isn't value in creating pressure, there definitely is. However, if you don't have other guys able to clean up those QB's getting flushed out, it doesn't end up amounting to the result you want against elite QB's.  I just think Stewart has too many question marks for me to be comfortable with as a 1st round pick. Love the athlete. Definitely love the athlete.
    • If they draft this dude before the 2nd round...
    • No one knows what Bryce is gonna do the rest of his career. His start was so bad, it's hard to get too confident. I was just referring to him as a college and pro prospect. Bryce damn near threw for 5000 yards and 50 TDs as a 20 years old, first year starter in the SEC. That ain't normal.
