Lets say we won the Watson sweepstakes..

 

What would have been your honest reaction and opinion on giving Watson 230 million dollars fully guaranteed?

Would’ve been so mad. Imagine how razor thin wiggle room you have when paying someone that much guaranteed money while also having no first round picks for years

In that case the better option is to draft a rookie QB in 2023. We'll get our LT in this draft. Things are coming together without breaking the bank for Watson. Now about the 2022 season... I have some bad news... we going to get our asses kicked.

Honestly, it's moving that way anyway. If you have a franchise QB, he's going to be with you, and you're going to pay him (unless he's on a rookie deal). Watson is proven! So, he had to be paid. No reason to get mad.

Not going to lie I would have hype tf outta of it but I’m glad we didn’t win, that’s wayyyyyyy to much risk for a guy who has red flags on and off the field
