Chinn had a better LB rookie season than Thomas Davis, who put on weight to become elite. Chinn cannot do the same? Playing him away from the LOS is questionable and easier for offenses minimize his impact.

It doesn’t make sense to have one of your best tacklers playing that far off the LOS.

With how poor our run defense is, he would be much more useful playing OLB where he can’t put teams behind the chains.

If he’s playing SS and still putting up ridiculous tackling numbers it’s because the running back has already broken through for a five yard gain.

Go back and watch Kam Chancellor on Seattle. That's the blueprint for how we should be using Chinn.

FS but according to Viking fans he is better in run support and he did play one year of SS with the Cowboys.
