some olineman for whatever reason really start to suck when they’re paid or when they go to another team, it’s like they know their bodies are done or they had success and it’s time to go downhill with a paycheck

do you really think if winning is their priority and they have options the Panthers make sense?

i will forever be skeptical of FA olineman…but I know to just wait and see

I think you're seeing this in a vacuum my friend. Our entire 03 line was comprised of FA's.  Turner was getting turnstilled the season we let him walk.  Kalil really should have retired. We brought in Oher and honestly he was really good for us. Obviously Matt Kalil was a letdown and that could lead to some ptsd....but thats all it is.

Matt Kalil and Paradis have definitely been disasters.  Surely we are due for some good o line signings

I think we’ve done an admirable job fixing the OL. Really hope we can retain Bozeman long term. But count me out for wanting Armstead. Too expensive for an injury prone player. We’re in a prime position to draft a stud at LT on the low. I’d like to use the rest of the money on a QB or to further bolster the D.

Also, I like BC as a swing tackle. My preferred OL lineup would be:

Cross Brown Bozeman Corbett Morton

I want the extra size/mauler/road grader Brown brings at LG. Our RBs will eat behind that OL. BC is nice depth.

No offense to Armstead but I confess I'm kinda wanting to draft a left tackle.

Mostly because this is a good class for them but also partly because I really don't want to draft any of the quarterbacks.

I sure as hell hope this isn't evidence that we're looking to draft a QB at 6th. The 2022 QB class looks like a collection of backup QBs at the pro level. Those guys are going to be holding clipboards.

He missed 9 games last year and has had a bit of a history in that area. 

Personally, because so many Huddlers have asked for my opinion, I hope we drop back if one of the top 2 OTs are not on the board-- ( I am not sure Cross is worth the #6--I'd take him around #12)

That doesnt make any sense.  Thats eerily similar to last year in what people were saying about slater.  If Cross can play LT he can play LT
