Donte Jackson might want too much money

He may have started that way, but I think the market is humbling him a bit, to be fair, there are a lot of corners sitting they may be waiting on Gilmore's deal to possibly establish the market.

I can't think of any marquee corners signed off the top of my head, though there have been ''some'' signings in what feels like the middle tier.

Corner market seems weak outside of J.C Jackson. I believe Carolina will now retain at least one of Donte Jackson/Gilmore, perhaps both.

Donte is ranked around 10th FA CB left, and these guys ahead of him are only getting like $6-10M a year. Maybe not the best year to be a FA CB, especially coming off injuries last couple years

Yeah gotta see what happens with Rasul as well. Eli Apple just got 1 year $4M and they basically had the same stats

I think the CB market is going to experience what the Safety market has been feeling lately. Their value has lowered quite a bit. The difference between an elite player vs a good player is a large margin in cost.

Yep. It is a deep class with a lot of players likely to take 1-2 year deals.

Something for us all to note.... our defense didnt have an identity last year, and with these signings... we are definitely taking on the identiity of hitting you in the mouth ..... we got some big nast hitters in this FA... and we still havent seen who this mysterious safety is...

Yet we drafted one at 8 last year instead of a LT or QB.....   Although he has potential to be great.
