Jared Goff has a 42-27 record with the Rams. Same tough division as Jimmy G.

Matt Stafford had a 74-90-1 record with the Lions. NFC North was not a powerhouse outside of GB.

Who in their right mind would have traded Goff for Stafford based upon those records?

Hmmm. Maybe looking at QB wins isn't the best metric for this discussion?

Dude. You don’t give up multiple firsts to move up and draft and rookie who barely played in college if you think you have your guy. Remember Kyle Shannan with Matt Ryan? I think they maybe made a super bowl and mvp or something like that. Remember Belichick? I think he coached up a pretty good QB in New England or something.  So 2 HoF level coaches have now willingly moved on from him.

Yeh, let’s waste some more money on a guy who won’t be around in 1-2 years. Can we all just agree that there isn’t an available vet capable of being our franchise qb except for Watson? Why do we need two bridge qb’s on this team????

Yeah it's for the future numnuts. They moved up because of Jimmy G injury history. But where was Lance last year...oh yeah sitting and learning. I watched him in college many times. They wouldn't of won 5 games with him last year. Same they did with Mahomes. Same as they tried to do with Fields. Give them a year. Jimmy G is a band aid. But is a professional. Taught by the GOAT. Why he is going to be a teacher for someone younger. But time to build thru the draft the missing other pieces. I hope we get Watson and he wins us 6-8 games a year but by gosh he is going to score them fantasy points for your team. I thought Chief fans were morons her in Missouri. Ya'll make these gun toten hillbillies look like geniuses. Have a great evening. Best of luck. We will enjoy the basement for the next 5 years.

We should trade a high pick (remember we don’t have 2nd already) for a “band aid” (your words not mine), with an injury history (again your words), who costs $27M to come mentor our stud young QB that we currently have...oh wait, we don’t have one? We’d have to use our 1st round pick to draft one? 

And then we “build thru the draft the missing other pieces” (wow once again - your words). Guess I’m forgetting all these extra picks we have to build in the draft with when we use our 1st to get your young QB you want. Might want to start thinking things out before hitting post
