LOL why is that?  Everybody believes the "hes going to Saints" or "hes going to Falcons" tweets from random people.  Why not us?  And the vast majority of the chatter out there has him ending up in Charlotte, whatever thats worth.

because if Watson wanted to be traded to the Panthers this would have happened already. Last year at the deadline, or now already. He's busy meeting with all the possible teams because he doesn't want to come to the Panthers. They're probably his 3rd or 4th choice.

That makes no sense bro. You could say the very same thing about every team he’s officially met with. If he just wanted NO he would have just met with NO. If he just wanted Cleveland he would have just met with them. See how what you’re saying makes no sense?

Because the Panthers have been involved and interested in trading for him since last year. Longer than Cleveland, longer than NO. The only other reported team that was interested was Miami and it's been semi-reported Watson didn't want to waive his no-trade clause for the Panthers at the trade deadline.

The Panthers have been ringing the bell for a year. Watson isn't answering. He's probably seeing the Panthers as a last ditch option if a better team doesn't offer as much in trade.

    • Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.
    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
