The Watson Thread - Part Deux

Probably won't hear anything till Thursday or Friday. Maybe not till next week. The fact that Watson is meeting with all these teams means that the Panthers and Saints didn't blow him away and make him immediately think about making a decision. No matter how "well" the meeting went. It is all team propaganda anyway.

It is frustrating because I just want it to be over. Darn that no trade clause. It would already be over if it wasn't for that.

Gonna be a freaking long few days to week or weeks.

Bailey dropping knowledge.  Moral of the story is that we all need to step away from the ledge.  We've got the best potential offer.  Atlanta is basically trolling, but from what Bailey has heard is that we've got the best offer and nobody else can really come close.  Our offense would be absolutely lethal if we add DW4.  And it seems like that was communicated very effectively in our meeting.

What do the Saints have to offer? They have the same amount of 1st rounders as we do except our current 1st is a lot better. They don’t have the stud rookie contract players we do.

It’s also a push on on the teams being better and both coaches suck. I don’t understand that one.

A coach that isn't Matt Rhule.

    • Suddenly the Cowgirls look like our best chance for a win remaining. I think the Bucs are playing better than the Falcons of late.  Our lone game versus the dirty birds is in the ATL where we always struggle.  The Cardinals are marginally better than I thought they would be. We are not beating the Eagles, they are starting to roll. I'm saying two at most, next week at home versus the Bucs and the Cowgirls.
    • Could’ve gotten it too if not for some untimely drops. Gotta catch those, XL and Tremble!
    • well, the beginning of the season he wasn't moving the ball at all anywhere on the field. he's getting that straight. hoping he can get the other straight as well. i do know that red zone issues weren't just him, though. we were doing a lot of things wrong.
