Keep in mind we could have had cheap talent in the draft in 2021 that were as good or better than this. Could have had it in 2022 as well.

This is the price you pay for fuging up draft picks.

Looking at the FA list, it was basically him and Norwell at that price, then Trai Turner, then Chris Reed and the like for probably $2M less. If someone gets Norwell for less yeah we over payed but that's the Rhule effect. I can't believe he even wanted to come here at all

Elflein is horrible at center. If he is there, everything falls apart.

BC(LT)-Elflein(LG)-Linderbaum(C)-Corbett(RG)-Moton(RT)

Elflein is still a liability at guard, but the OL can win with him at guard or draft one of many guards who will be an improvement. Keeping Elflein and then signing Corbett is extremely confusing. Why put a good guard next to a weak center?

That is a better OL overall but that left side will get shelled all season long.
