The Panthers have become a team that exists simply to help fill out the NFL schedule along with teams like the Lions. It is what it is.

I'd be interested in how many other NFL coaches "liked" this.  That would probably give us some indication of whether we should be appalled or apathetic.

The Lions looked like an actual NFL team at the end of last season. We did not.
