If the Saints truly are all in, does the price tag go up? If it's a bidding war, would we offer 3 1sts, 2 nds, and 3 key players?

The one thing I'm thinking that would give pause is the Saints reassigned a former shitty HC, but kept the long term OC who we really don't know how much input he had under Payton. For Watson I'd think it's obvious Rhule sucks and the Saints are a gamble, but Tepper may offer him more long term control. 

Not a hard sell as Tepper is a Pittsburgh guy and Pickett is the hometown kid.  Actually, it wouldn't shock me if Tepper liked Pickett more than Rhule.

The situation is interesting with this, because the Texans stand to benefit from a bidding war, while it actually hurts Deshaun's future team.  I don't know that he benefits from waiving his clause for more than the team he wishes to play for (of those that have offered).

It would suck ass to see the Saints get him but if it happens so be it. Life goes on. We'll look to the draft. Anyone who wants to spend a few months crying about it hey do your thing I guess.

When I say "we" I mean the Carolina Panthers. I did not think New Orleans would be a serious contender yesterday, I thought there was no way with lack of resources and cap. That is obviously not the case.
