Guys, it’s over. Now we just need to hope someone pulls trigger on Jimmy G

I wonder if Tepper picks up the phone and calls Zona and offers absurd package for Murray. The fear of him looking like a fool yet again is very real

Tepper needs to just stand pat and find a QB next year after he fires rhule

This was published yesterday prior to Brady returning, so obviously the Bucs are out now.

"Besides the Saints and Panthers, other teams including the Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns are expected to show interest in acquiring Watson, who previously has waived his no-trade clause only for the Miami Dolphins."

The Eagles have the most firepower.  Even those in the organization that like Hurts knows he's never going to be elite.  It's a matter if Watson will want to go there.  Houston looking at this draft haul has to be licking their chops.  Heck, Philly can meet Houston's draft haul demands this year alone.

They are not doing anything magical. Just pushing the money to future years. Eventually you run out of contracts to restructure and the salary cap hell comes. If you do that you have to draft really well to offset with cheap rookie contracts. Saints would be giving up a boatload of draft picks in a Watson deal.

That's kind of my point. Every year it's said the salary cap hell is going to come. It's been what, 15 years now, and we just keep hearing any day. How many posts are in this topic worrying about if NO gets Watson they are going to dominate us for a decade. It's because we all know that the cap isn't a limitation for NO as much as we wish it was. And if they give up a bunch of picks so continued success is going to be hard, wouldn't that apply here as well?

We have Rhule steering the ship right now and his influence over contracts and player acquisition is downright awful. He's a bigger hindrance than anything else.

Philly’s main issue is being in the East and Aaron Wilson mentioned early on in the process that he doesn’t want to be in the NFC East. I view it as a media market thing because all you would hear about are the cases.

It's already been said he's not going to Philly. At least it's been reported.

Houston has a say as well.  I get it's likely us our the Saints, but Houston can get a legit starter in Hurts and a quicker return if the trade partner is Philly.  Simply saying, Philly is likely the Texans' top choice of a trade partner.

Hasn't it been stated that Carolina is the Texans top choice because we're giving up the most? Thought it was.
