There is pretty close to 0 chance that Darnold is on the roster come week one if Carolina trades for Watson. Darnold will either be in that trade going to Houston, or Carolina will dump him elsewhere. You can book it.

I would be suprised if Watson is not a Panther by Wednesday. I just hope we don't trade Horn, Burns, or Chinn. Hopefully unload Darnold, Robby, and maybe CMC.

How are they going to dump Darnold and not pay all(or almost all) of his 19M salary as you previously suggested. They had to pay 17M of Teddy’s 20M last year to dump him and Teddy was at least almost average. Darnold is far from that.
