If you need to hire a PI to investigate a player he’s probably not worth trading for 

Tepper probably has a PR firm ready to clean up Watson’s image too

I am not saying it's true, and in fact I don't really care if it is true, or if they are doing it.  It could be a complete fabrication, or it could be a rumor that isn't true.  But things like that are difficult to keep secret.  

In my experience, some people like to tell others about interesting things whether they should or not.  Those people could be a secretary that handled the booking and the payment, or someone else that works for either organization.  And the Panthers hiring an PI to investigate would be interesting.

Aaron Wilson has the story, and he's a good source.

We're not the first to do this, by the way. The Eagles did it last year during the season.

Tepper is incompetent but he is getting closer to  just being a complete POS. Trading for Watson would seal it for me.
