Thanksgiving

Had early lunch at Zink with the parents. Now on the sofa half-way watching football with the heating pad on my neck/shoulders and wanting to get into something.

madden's had eight.

i'm hosting. wife's cooking. friends to arrive a little later. food, football, firepit, drinks, beer pong, video games. this has become my favorite holiday because people come here, indulge in everything and then we pass out when we are at that point. Happy turkey day everyone!

On call for a 30 hr shift at the hospital, the cafeteria turkey was hideous but thankfully there has not been many admissions.

My wife and I made turkey, casserole, potatoes, stuffing for my in-laws.

The turkey was amazing, brined it and used alton brown's method of starting it in a 500 degree oven.

guess what I had to g4t up at 6 AM to make?

Went to brother in laws and pigged out on 3 deep fried turkeys and a ham along with all the good stuff that goes with it. They always have a good spread of food for Thanksgiving.

Now, shining up golf clubs for an early round of cold, wet golf in the morning while my wife spends all my money on Black Friday "deals".
