Not sure if that definitely takes OT off the board at #1. They still have no long-term answer at LT and the rookie could play elsewhere on the OL next season.

It would be a pretty savvy move to take Neal at 1.1, play him as a bone-crunching LG his first year and then let Cam Robinson walk with Neal replacing him in 2023.   Then the team just has to find a LG, which is a lot easier.  And the Jags OL in 2022 would be beastly.

Ikem fits that plan too.  This is a stacked defensive line class.  The Jags could wait till there 2nd pick and still likely get a starter at DE.

I disagree, I think Neal and mainly Ekwonu are still in play. I mean jax has been unable to come to terms for two years, drafting Ekwonu would greatly increase their options. Either can play OG and gain NFL exp.

For me it changes nothing.....but if at some point a long term deal is reached....then that would be a draft changer.
