Seriously--the #6 pick and another first plus Moore, for example, should get Watson here.  I do not want him, but the #6 pick is  as valuable as 2 late-first-round picks.  We will use the cap to sign a G and another G or C, move BC to LT, and forget about the draft until the fourth round.

BC I think will do fine as LT.  Freeing up money by restructuring players has to be intended to get some solid offensive linemen in to help.

If we somehow land Watson than we are betting on these free agents to be apart of our draft.  I seriously doubt we land a starter in round 4.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Unless the Texans surprise everybody and significantly lower their price, I wouldn't put any money on that.

That doesn’t matter Natalie also known as Verge has said a deal is on the table. I think that’s why CMC rumors cam out, he will be apart of the trade.

Taking a look at the Houston delimma--they have very few potential suitors.  Watson has to be moved.  They can wait until after free agency because the draft sucks.  But they need to draft well, and foregoing a draft pick this year would be stupid.  I say offer the #6 overall and the first rounder next year, and throw in Moore or Thompson or CMC.  IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE DEAL.  They are simply trying to appear calm, when they are under pressure to move Watson before the end of April.

Broncos acquired Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick from Seattle in exchange for QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DT Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a fifth-round pick

so now we know what Deshaun Watson trade will look like

would you do something like this if you were Scott Fitterer ?

They have the Eagles, who have way more trade ammo than us. Word has been Watson didn't want to go there though.

Of course, it's not absolutely clear he wants to come here either 😕

I think 2 firsts and CMC is a more than fair deal considering the circumstances

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
