Combine that with the idea that any player we take a 6th wouldn't change our team to the point where we'd be good.

But a ton of great QBs were shorter than that and I'll take elite skills and instincts over an elite measuring tape all day everyday. Elite skills and instincts will make for a great QB whether he's 6' or 6'5" 

Herbert, Allen, Mahomes easily the 3 best "young qbs" all check in within an inch of that 6'4.
