Keep this guy away please. Do not want his big ass contract, to give up all the draft picks and star players we would have to in trade, all his civil suits, his criminal complaints or his obvious lack of leadership ability. Don't care for anything regarding him and I just wish we would move on from even a thought of him. Watch Rhule give up the world for Watson and then he goes on the exempt list when Goddell finds out we are about to start him for games. We don't need this moron or the kings ransom he will cost.

And matt rhule at HC

Yes. Watson might be an incredible talent but 1) he's no Cam  2) think of the cost! What will we lose by attaining him and how long will it keep Rhule around.

We couldn't win a Lombard with Cam.

Do any of you think we could win it with a severely handicapped team (which we would be after selling the farm to get him), a more poorly coached team, and a QB that the league would hate even more?

We couldn't win with superman. Watson is no Superman. He would be a weak attempt at reliving the Superman team with a much weaker justice league led by mental midget with a Napoleon complex.

Seriously, we don't want that.

Superman is gone and he ain't coming back. Let's find another way.

Even if all the civil and criminal stuff gets settled, his behavior isn't magically going to stop. Part of bringing Watson here would be accepting the real possibility this could happen again and he could be suspended permanently. 3 1sts and high end starters for someone that could be out of the league at any time? That's Russian roulette with your teams future. No thanks.

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
