No one here is anywhere even remotely qualified to predict the asking price for Watson when trading resumes. However, I think we can safely say that it will not be 5 first round picks haha.

If this doesn't do anything else, it should stop people from declaring that Watson doesn't want to come here. He obviously is considering it.

Yeah and this team has a talent, and we're about to free up more cap space when we restructure a bunch of contracts. We'll be ok if we can land him for a decent price.

My gut tells me the Fins are going to make a bonkers offer to the Texans, and at that point we need to bow out. We have to be smart about this even if dumbass Fitt put us in this position, he needs to get us out.

The Texans want at least three first round picks, plus two other assets (either players or high picks).

With multiple teams interested, why should they lower their demands?
