My Top 3 Head Coaching options after Fox is fired..

and if you look at past Bear QBs, you have to admit the guy did so much with so little. Jake was good when we went to the SB..Rex Grossman has always sucked.

Orton is now tearing it up in Denver under a new coach and scheme and since hes been injured and out the Broncos have sucked. Maybe Lovie Smith can't develop a qb or run a good offense, he always was a defensive minded coach. We've already got one of those coaches.

Bill Cowher- ..We aren't really in rebuilding mode, and no doubt he wants to win now. He brings in a REAL DC (Ron Meeks sucks) and if Peppers stays, he will motivate him to play..and his offensive is PERFECT for Jake if he is still he (hopefully he isn't but..)

Why fire a DC in his first season? His defense are starting to work, but apparently the injuries on Davis, Kemo, & others is making us use several backups. Give Meeks another chance & with more creative control. They might be even better, but time will tell.

Butch Davis- Hammer me all you want, I don't care. He has turned the NORTH CAROLINA TARHEELS into a serious competitive team. Mind you, I don't even watch ACC football (Roll Tide!!!) but since I forced to watch the Tar Heels living in North Carolina, I like the guy...

I like the Tar Heels & all, but I prefer someone who is successful in the NFL than college. Not many coaches or coordinators are quite successful in NFL compare to their best career in college. Steve Spurrier anyone?

Lovie Smith- He is going to get fired by the Bears. He is a good coach, that took the Bears to the SB a few years back, and haven't really done anything since. His QBs have been worse than Delhomme..sign him up.

John Fox 2.0?? No thanks.

Cowher = Buffalo's coach next year

Keep dreaming, 'cause we know Cowher don't want to coach the shitty Buffalo Bitches. He may have want to wait for the season to end first before he want to coach again or not, but I doubt he want to coach them. Sorry to hear about that & I offer my condolences on this tragedy. :D :D

You can have him for all I'm concerned

For peaks sake, why would we want a coach that is going to be fired?

Why not an up-and-coming coordinator from a successful team? Leslie Frazier, anyone?

Yea well atleast someone who has proven they are better then Fox anyway.

Given that no coach has ever taken a second team to Super bowl victory after winning with his first, I don't get the appeal.

Cowher? No :nonod:

Davis? He was awful with the browns. Not a pro coach :nonod:

Smith? He and Jeff Fisher are the type of retread (i.e. contender) that I can see, but I'm not sure either is a huge departure from Fox.

As to the Bills discussion, they've heard from Shanahan again.

People who want Cowher don't know why they want him besides "OMG SUPER BOWL WINNERRR!!!! "

9 division titles

8 years in the playoffs with a 21-12 playoff record

9 seasons with at least 10 wins

11 seasons over .500

Only 3 seasons below .500 and 1 at .500

2 Super Bowls and a Super Bowl win

Anyway, my choices are Marty Schottenheimer (I think if the right opportunity rises, he'll take it), Leslie Frazier, Ron Rivera, Sean McDermott, or Cowher.

He won three of those nine division titles in the last nine years of his career.

Fox averages (about) the same number of super bowl appearances.

Cowher's winning % the last 9 years of his tenure: .594

Cowher started out his career great but fizzled.

He was strongly opposed to drafting Ben Rothlisberger.

He is overrated and just because he always looks pissed in pictures doesn't mean he actually was during games.

Yeah because most of the pictures I have seen of him were not gameday pictures.
