I know what you are saying here but Pickett is just a JAG.  Nothing special.  I want a super talent at that position and there appears to be guys coming next year with said skills.  What does pickett do well?  To me nothing much.

At this point we should just suffer through Rhule until Arch Manning declares for the draft.

If we get a Manning the NFL will guarantee us at least 1 ring.

As I understand it, he's saying that we might have to make an effort to resign some of our own (even if they're not that great) because nobody else is going to want to come here.

And sadly, that does...kinda make sense.

If pickett doesnt die behind our line next year (and I am afraid they are going spend like drunken sailors on overpriced lineman) then he wins 8 games and rhule has something to stand on for keeping him

I disagree.   The best long term interests of the team would be to keep the cap space.
