kill cams are the equivalent of screen watching, and for the most part i refuse to use them. plus watching them is just eating up time that you should be trying to get kills.

I rarely watch the kill cam because I almost always know where I was killed from. But it's also a great way to find those unique spots that other people are using. It only takes a split second too, you certainly don't have to watch the whole thing. I maybe pay attention to a kill cam once every 20 games though.

Kill cams and the fact silencers gimp sniper rifles (I mean c'mon how does it take more than one round of a .50 cal to down you, silencer or no?!) are the reason my super sneaky sniper dies.

I absolutely stink with sniper rifle. I'll pull off a head shot and it does nothing. At least what I think is a head shot. Put the head in the sights and pull trigger...dude lives. LMAO. If it weren't for trying to unlock as much poo as I can I'd ditch the sniper rifle permanently.

They've weakened the sniper rifle considerably - it's no better than an ACOG'd assault rifle at range. Probably weaker actually as an assault rifle can get a burst off pretty accurately. I only use snipers because I dig the ghillie suit.

Try the Intervention with FMJ and Stopping Power. One shot, one kill 98% of the time.

I need cold blooded, I'm a tactical sniper, rather than one that runs and guns. You can't hide somewhere waiting for a shot without cold blooded, you die very quickly from air support.

I just got the game last weekend and only have about 5-6 hours so far. The only sniper i've used is the barret .50 cal but using that with stopping power was a one-hit kill every time I actually hit a guy.

If you hit them in the upper torso or the head it's a one shot kill. Otherwise it's not. It's the rifle I use too, but with them making the silencer unusable you basically have to kill the enemy in one shot or you're dead (cos you come up on the radar and they'll more than likely out gun you as the game is designed to fug with snipers). You basically have to be uber good to make the sniper work.

There are a lot of guys that are disgusting with the sniper. Just go to youtube.com and type in "Modern Warfare 2 sniper montage" and I've noticed almost ALL of them use the Intervention.

That sniper footage was crazy. LOL. How the hell does anyone aim that fast? A lot of those shots you don't even see the scope view come into play...he just taps the left trigger immediately followed by the right trigger. Insane.

Oh and I took the sniper rifle and played split screen...if you don't get a headshot it's not a one hit one kill thing. I would aim at the middle torso and it would take two shots to kill. i need to check with the different perks though, I don't think I had stopping power equipped.
