Fire Jeff Davidson & Ron Meeks

I rather fire Fox than Meeks & Davidson. It's not Meeks's fault some of our defense are struggling with many of them getting hurt. His defense are clicking & starting to get better. I hope next year they will even better under his power if he stay & get more creative freedom.

:iagree:

IF Fox stays (and the odds of this happening are about even with him getting fired IMO), then I would like to see the Panthers make an attempt to bring in Charlie Weis (who is probably out at Notre Dame) as our offensive coordinator. Being long-time friends, he's probably the only OC that Fox will completely trust to take full charge of the offense. Any other OC that comes in will be handcuffed by Fox's ultra conservative philosophy (as was Dan Henning) and we're going nowhere fast with his thumb print on the offense. I would love to see what we can really do if we open things up a little, particularly in the passing game.

Of course this would require a bonafide QB since Jake's better days appear to be past. This is where a FA QB like Jason Campbell could help us. Now, before the "Jason Campbell Sucks" crowd starts typing a response, here are a few things to keep in mind: 1) Campbell is a former 1st round pick that was taken by the legendary Joe Gibbs; 2) for a stretch last season, Jason Campbell was the most accurate QB in the League; I think he went almost 1/2 a season w/o an INT, something that Jake Delhomme could never claim; and 3) I can't think of any QB that would thrive with the type of "supporting cast" JC has in DC, including a makeshift OL and subpar WRs. Without Clinton Portis and Chris Coolidge, the Redskins offense has been anemic. Since Fox won't likely start a rookie QB, bring in a FA like Campbell and selecting a potential starter in the later rounds of the draft may be our best option IMO.

How many times should we have run the ball with less than a minute vs the Dolphins.... or that last drive in the first Atl game? See we can nit-pick all the way around if yo want to.

we wouldn't have to worry about the last minute of the game in that situation if we just do what we are good at in the first, second and third qtr which is control the clock and run the ball down their throat.

There is nothing more demoralizing to a defense when the defense knows you're going to run it and they can't stop it.

Our run sets up the pass, so for us to abandon the run only down 2 scores in the first half is ridiculous.

Plus, I've noticed there is an art form to play action pass and Jake is NO Picasso!!!
