Bouknight ejected from courtside seats at UConn game

obviously has some maturity issues, but as noted above...he's 21.

Still most 21 year old don't get ejected from a game their watching the same season as they get sent to the lockerroom in a game they are playing in.

Fans have been ejected in the past.  A couple of NC State former players got thrown out of the arena during a game a few years back.  Chris Corchiani was one of them.

I think it's a little concerning, but at the same time, I didn't get my head on straight until I was 26 or 27.  It is kind of crazy to think that these guys hit the league at 20 or 21 years old.  I would have definitely made some televised mistakes if it were me.

It's hard to tell what he did exactly to set the official off.  He was playing on that court last season, so maybe he made himself a bit too much at home on the sideline.

It appears the dude he was with was the main instigator. He seemed surprised he was tossed. In any case, this incident and the confrontation with Barrego indicates he does have some maturity issues, which is typical for young men his age. I know from experience.

I just watched the video. It appears Bough was on the court jawing with the Xavier player. The woman he was with may have been on the court as well, it’s hard to tell on the video I saw. The dude he was with appeared to do nothing wrong.

Red flags all over the place with this kid, and so far he looks worse than Monk on the court comparing rookie to rookie.

Agreed. This is looking like Monk 2.0 with this kid. I wasn’t too high on him and actually though Duarte would’ve been a better player for us. I hope Bouknight gets it together soon.

Who cares? This isn't some storied franchise. The Hornets are a mess and a big part of that isn't Bouknight it's the head coach we just gave an extension to. Plenty of teams would be thrilled to have him on their roster. If we can't find a role for him we should not have drafted him. If we are worried about anyone it should be our recent all star making an exit at the earliest opportunity if we can't get a good team built around him.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
