If u read the report more after that, he pretty much says we’re stuck with Darnold. Says he don’t think anyone will take on that contract. I would say we out of running for any big time qb. Damn we really going to be stuck with Pickett. Smh

How much are we going to have to pay to get anyone 'good' here? None of the Vets want to come lose here when they can get paid enough by contenders. I guess if we made them the highest paid QB someone will take the hook maybe?

It's not for a lack of trying, the best guy they could get was Sam lol. My best option for the year is that Rhule is stuck with Sam. It's too good to be true but is the best 2023 option.

Spoke w/ Mark Schofield yesterday. Mark does great work for USA Today, particular on the film side. He suggested Garoppolo would be a good scheme fit for McAdoo in Carolina, though I didn’t necessarily see it as endorsement by Mark for Carolina actually making that move. I do think there is some validity to the buzz the Carolina might try to pursue Jimmy G, based on prior and recent reporting from Breer, this analysis by Schofield, and my own sourcing.

Notable that Breer, a few weeks ago on one of his halftime videos, suggested Carolina and Washington would the primary teams in play for Garrapolo.
