We've been trying. We would've traded for Watson already if he'd sign off on it. We went hard after Stafford. We'll probably go hard after Watson again (and be told no again). We'll inquire about Rodgers and Wilson only to get laughed at. Then we'll trade for Jimmy G.

I don’t want Rhule to switch QB’s again. He made this bed, he better lay in it. Get Cam, use him as a trade to a contender mid season, than bring Darnold in and show us you can improve players.

Would rather Rhule be stuck with Darnold but if we’re going after a qb at least we have someone on the staff now who knew ahead of time that Sam was trash.

The Rams and Bengals both showed the value of going after the QB you really want and in drafting a solid QB to put pieces around.

 

The Bengals literally demonstrated you can't win a Superbowl with a shoddy OL.

 

Fix the OL first. Doesnt matter who the QB is if we can't protect him.

Well look at it this way, if they go all in and mortgage the future on a bust qb they won't have anything left to do it again...so there's that.
