Are they world beaters?  Nah, but the hires have been surprisingly good considering Rhule’s probably gone in 2023 barring a total turnaround

Yea but Bears fans wanted Tabor out. Like you said he has connections to guys like Jakeem Grant, but he is okay at best. Not bad, but McaDoo is below average and none of the others are above average except the Oline coach, which honestly what was most important.

I didn't like the Rhule hire from the beginning. A preacher's son was not what the Panthers needed. Then he hired Temple and Baylor staff. The deal was sealed when he made the statement about Derrick Brown's crucial offsides penalty in a game that he liked the enthusiasm Derrick displayed. WTF. Something only a college coach would say. We've had a college team for 2 years.

A tiger can't change its stripes and I'm afraid that's where Rhule is. We'll see where hiring NFL experienced coaches takes us but I'm expecting a rough 2022.

      The agenda was building around Bryce.  2 WR, 3 olinemen, TE, and a potentially elite RB.  I stood up for Bryce all last year because I didn't think you could evaluate him properly with what we had last year in coaching, play calling and personal.  Bryce was the 2nd least pressured QB in the last 2 weeks because of the money Morgan spent on the line.  Despite Bryce looking horrible I'd say Morgan has had an exceptional beginning as GM. Here some more things I liked. Trevin Wallace looked like a banger in preseason.  Resigned Brown.  Gave Horn his 5th year option and Horn is playing very well. *Flipped a 7th round pick for a starting CB in Michael Jackson who has also played well. Filled a depleted roster with solid vets and if you really look at the cap this is a 2 year play.  Almost everyone except the 2 elite guards signed a 2 year deal. Did not pay Stephen Gilmore 10 million for one season. *Got the 0-2 Rams 2nd pick next year. Set a culture and tone of the type of players we want.  *Dawgs. *Elite GM moves.
