Chinn

Etc...

This team is not nearly as bad as most of you guys want  to think it is.

We were the worst team in the league after our 3 game win streak winning only 2 out of our last 14 games and ending on a 7 game losing streak.

We are potentially losing 2 starting CBs, starting DT, Starting LBer, and a starting safety on defense. On offense, we have no long term solution at QB, our highest paid RB in league history has been chronically injured the past two seasons, Our WRs can't catch, and our offensive line is in shambles.

To address all of these roster deficiencies, we only have 1 pick in the top 100 and the 19th most cap space in the NFL. The guy running the show has shown an inability to identify talent necessary to plug the holes, as well as the impatience to trade future assets to "fix" them.

Chinn is playing out of position and didn't really  have an impact last year. Moore and Burns are solid, but not super star players in this league. Horn, I have no idea about because he was injured all but 3 games last season.

You have optimism that 5 players might play well. Ok, fine, good for those guys. 3 of the guys you listed above played fine last year. It didn't help us win at all.

We haven’t seen it like him. He’s fell for Rhule’s 7+ years!

Nothing, unfortunately, and that's due to a complete lack of faith in the leadership and Matt Rhule. Certain moves may start swing the needle back from apathy/cynicism, but it's going to take steady and sustained improvement to begin the thaw. Not even significant increase in wins per se, but just looking like an actual NFL team with competent NFL-level leadership and doing it week in and week out.

Unless they hired Flores, firing Rhule this off-season wouldn't excite me much because who would we hire? I mean are there any good choices? We missed the opportunity for most.

There are no good vet FA WBs this year and the idea of trading for one AGAIN makes me want to puke. No great QB options in the draft.

I don't know....there just isn't much of anything we could do because Rhule is still here and has control.

Him losing control of personnel decisions and being told to keep his ignorant hands off the offense and defense would help, but at point why not just fire the guy?

I just have no enthusiasm about this team as long as Rhule is at the helm. He's the captain of this ship and we're heading for Niagra Falls.

I bet I know what Tepper THINKS will get people pumped for next season.

New Uniforms.

Calling it now.

It's the only way they sell any merchandise next season.

Nah. It’s cam. Throw him a poo ton of money to run around and throw fadeaways into the defense. It’s a pathetic way to this teams’ fans. You saw last year, fans ate it up and couldn’t even see what it was and got mad for anyone that did. It’s a loophole for his failure. As long as that is an option, no reason to care. It’s literally all he has to do. It’s genius I’ll give him that. But for long time Panther fans it’s just more of the clown show.

Spring?  Lot's of things.  Putting a new Simrad in the boat...big ole boy.  19"er.  New Marine Mat non skid on my loading platform and on my leaning post.  Bought a new fishing rod and reel the other day, that will be nice.  Rewiring all of the amp's, subs, and speakers on the boat...should jump out of the water, and planning a run up to Morehead City as soon as it's warm.  I'm super excited.

Oh, football season....no, nothing.

    • One has a proven, offensive-minded, Super Bowl winning head coach along with a top 5 OL + defense. He's being protected and getting the ball back not having to chase the other teams. The other had Frank Reich + Thomas Brown their rookie year with a bottom 5 defense as well as a bottom 5 OL that gave up the 2nd most sacks against a rookie QB ever. The sophomore season is being ran with a top 5 OL but also with a rookie HC (that has just one year of OC experience) and a bottom 5 defense still. The Broncos defense has allowed over 20pts just three times this season (26 vs. SEA (L), 23 vs. LAC (L), 41 vs. BAL (L)). Meanwhile, the Panthers have had ONE game where the defense gave up less than 20pts (vs. NYG (W)).   I'm not sure how folks couldn't expect Bo Nix to statistically perform better given their incredibly different situations. With that said, I didn't expect Nix to keep ascending as impressively as he has this season. Hopefully his arc will give other older college QBs a better shot, especially given the recent media blitz against the NFL regarding how development of the QB position in the league seems to be non-existent. Hopefully Bryce continues to improve as well, of course.
    • “You can learn a lot in 10 games,” Nix said. “[I’m] still learning, still growing, but just finding ways to execute the play that’s called, no matter what it is: run play, pass play. It doesn’t matter. Just finding the right way to go with the ball.” To that point, Nix noted how his developing partnership with head coach Sean Payton has helped Denver’s offense get to the next level. “To be honest, I think at the beginning, you kind of make the NFL bigger than what it actually is,” Nix said when asked where he feels he’s made the most strides. “These players are really good, but at the same time, you have really good players on your level. I think simplifying the game, trying to play as fast as possible, and finding a completion, which is what we’ve been able to do here recently. “I think as we’ve gone on, Coach and I have found a good rhythm of what we both like, what we can kind of put out there on the field, and what we can execute. Then the guys have kind of adapted to it, found our roles within the offense, and executed at a high level. It’s just all about slowing the game down and processing things in a manner that you can handle. Just kind of see one or two things, and let those guys take you to where the ball is supposed to be.” -Bo Nix From what I'm gathering regarding Bryce, the Panthers entered this season with a reset mindset. It's Young's rookie year, which explains the benching. Now, we're beginning to see the development of Canales and Young's offense. Slow development but we're winning 😃
    • Bix has more tds through his first 11 games than bryce has his entire career....no comparison at all he made amazing throws during his first games his decision making just keeps getting better.  Young does not have the physical ability ro make the rhrows bo makes
