Steve Wilks got a Raw deal in AZ. fuging hate AZ for that. Wilks is a good coach, if we pick him up I'd be a little pleased. Getting decent coaches despite Rhule is a blessing.

True, but Hamilton had other offers.

I like Wilks, but it's not like a bunch of other NFL teams were looking to hire him.

(he did interview with the Giants recently, if I recall correctly)

This would be better news if Head Coach Eric Bienemy was doing the hiring for his staff.

 

It is the perfect time to make that offer and go in the right direction...

4 out of 5 I approve greatly, given the state of the team/Rhule. This made up for DL coach hire, Wilks is one of the better DB coaches in the world.

Wilks was one the best secondary coaches around, back when.

Seem to be fixing the mistake we made two years ago of bringing in a bunch of inexperienced college coaches.......I like it

He had that interview where he described a corner of having “dirty eyes” or “yellow eyes” lol. He was my guy ever since then. Reminded me of Denzel

If these decisions are from on high (Fitterer or even Tepper) then it's being forced on Rhule.  He got voluntold to jettison the Temple/Baylor retreads and hire some real NFL coaches.  

Time will eventually tell what's going on behind the scenes . . . 

I'm not saying I expect success next season but either Rhule somehow learned (unlikely but great if true) or Fitt/Tepper have more influence on hires than we expected, which is also overall good since it means they aren't sold on Rhule's complete genius as it has seemed they might be...
